Hello,
Currently we have a database, and it is our desire for it to be able
to store millions of records. The data in the table can be divided up
by client, and it stores nothing but about 7 integers.
| table |
| id | clientId | int1 | int2 | int 3 | ... |
Right now, our benchmarks indicate a drastic increase in performance
if we divide the data into different tables. For example,...

Good Monday Morning:
I am at a dead stop and I am hoping some other developers out there can help
me out. I have built a dataset that first contains a table populated from
SQL Server then I am adding another table that is built from the same Query
and data from active directory. I have built a parent/child relationship and
see all the data under my locals when debugging. Where I am having the
problem is displaying the data from the...

Hello,
I have seen samples on how to pull data from one table and save back to it
using the Form View control.
How do I pull from multiple tables and save back to multiple tables on one
screen? Is there a sample of this somewhere?
For example I want to create a Name and an Address from one screen. It has
to create a Name Record, a Name Address Record, and a NameAddressJoin Record.

I have a database with multiple tables that are all linked by a "site
id" field. For any given record the site id field is identical within
all the tables. Is there anyway to create a form with a textbox that
will record the site id to multiple tables?

I am using Microsoft Access, and VBA. I was wondering if it was possible to select multiple tables using DAO. For example, here is the code I am thinking should work, but doesn't:
sSQL = "SELECT table1.data1, table1.data2, table2.data1, table2.data2 FROM table1, table2"
This does not seem to pull data correctly using DAO, but it does work as a query. Does anyone have any idea how to pull data from multiple tables using VBA?

Hello again,

1. I have a database with multiple tables. One table consists of a user profile type of some sort, the other table consists of a Bio of...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
