I want to convert large files of prose to xhtml and so I need a way to
remove unwanted line wraps. So, I'm looking for a freebee editor that
has the capability of searching for a single "carriage return/line feed"
or "line feed/carriage return" and removing them. I quess what I need is
an editor that allows non-printable characters in it's search strings.
Does anyone know of on that will allow this?

how can I use the c.Replace(???, ???) method to have this string:
"'abc' "cde", 'mno' "xyz","
that is, all the backslashes are removed.

bonjour hello
I would like to trim a string of all its white spaces so i used
myString.trim() but it doesn't work as supposed : unsecable space are
remaining in the middle of my string...
i read in msdn : and notice that trim only Removes all occurrences of white
space characters from the beginning and end of this instance. So what for
the middle ?

I have a datetime char string returned from ctime_r, and it is in the
format like ""Wed Jun 30 21:49:08 1993\n\0", which has 26 chars
including the last terminate char '\0', and i would like to remove the
weekday information that is "Wed" here, and I also would like to
replace the spaces char by "_" and also remove the "\n" char. I didn't
know how to truncate the string from beginning or replace some chars
