Double Clicking Records to pull adt'nl info

1 New Member
Hello,

Recently, I've come across a problem. I have a list of Last Names, field named "LName", which are associated with a list of phone numbers. It is my intention to, on the form called "harlan test", double click a record, utilizing the record selector, and have the program open another form, "TESTY", to the selected record. In either form, the only field they share in common is "LName," which they both draw from the "main_list" table.

I believe it is important to note that I have very little experience with either program, Access or VB, and have tried everything I can think of and several solutions I've found within these forums themselves. Any assistance at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Umfpack is a C library for computations dealing with sparse matrices. Several examples in the User's Guide use a certain cast that puzzles me. Here is an example. The prototype of the function umfpack_di_symbolic() is: int umfpack_di_symbolic ( int n_row, int n_col,

I have recently been trying to determine the best technique to pull the least amount of info across the LAN link in a slow speed LAN situation (e.g. < 10 Mbps), where data volume = performance. After much confusion from reading a lot of info, some of which had conflicting info, it appears that setting the record source of a form equal to a sql statement that has the selection criteria as part of the sql statement, rather than using a...

I know that it is possible but, if the abstract class has a virtual function print, that prints info about the objekt and the derived classes each have theire own version of print, will a print funktion in the ADT that prints the info in the current objekt by using its print function use the print function from the superclass or from the derived class(es)? I'm not shore if virtual helps me here sense the nodes in the ADT take a pointer to an...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
