Hi,
I'm trying to find an event in the web browser control that triggers when the user clicks on a link inside the control and arrives at a new page.
My web browser control only shows 5 events in the property list: On Updated, On Enter, On Exit, On Got Focus, and On Lost Focus.
Is this all the events?
I've tested the On Update event with debug.print, and it does not fire when a user clicks inside the control, or when the user arrives on a new page.
How do I access more events?
Thanks,
Adam

This is discussed in another of your threads Adam. I know this preceeds that discussion so there's no question of it being a doubly posted question, but other people browsing may not know this so I'll link it in ( Web Browser Control Does maintain shape after Resizing).
This is still a relevant question if anybody has further ideas not already covered in the linked thread.
As NeoPa said, this was covered in the previous thread.
As to why, it's simply the way it is, not only for this control, but for all ActiveX Controls I've ever used.

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help here. We have a site where most of
the site opens in a window with no toolbars or menubar:
window.open('mypage.aspx','self','toolbar=0, menubar=0, etc, etc)
This is because it's a data driven site where space is at a premium and
we'd rather discourage use of back, stop and refresh.
The problem arises because some "view data" pages are designed to be
printed and have an onclick="window.print();"...

Ok, I've been looking through the .NET SDK docs and stuff.
I'm wondering if you can provide a control extender that does generic
validation or functionality just by dropping it on the form. For instance,
using the IExtenderProvider interface, you can specify properties, but there
is nothing documented about linking into a control's events.
For instance, in my application, there are specific formatting,
functionality and validation for...

Hi all.
I'm using the Property Grid control in a control to manage a windows service
we have developed here. The windows service runs a set of other jobs that
need to be managed. The control is used to view the state of the running
jobs and schedule new jobs. The control also runs in the context of
Internet Explorer (we do this so the administrators of the jobs can always
receive the latest control). The property grid is used to...

I am using Microsoft’s Web Browser Control embedded on an Access Form to
browse a specific site. I have a good reason for doing so; the pages on
this site run code which aborts their display unless their window is the
top window; they also treat all child windows as not-logged in windows. So
I have not accomplished what I want with HTA’s or IFrames or Pop-Up
Windows. But the Access Form/MS Web Browser combination gives me a top
window with...

I have a control with a toolbar on it, and I have another control inherits
it, and in this sub-control, I add more toobar buttons to it.
It used to work fine in VS 2003. But in VS 2005, in property sheet, it
shows: read only.
Is this a bug or desiged so in VS 2005?
Thanks and Happy new year!

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
