I am in the process of finishing up moderate sized access database
application. I am in the process now of building a switchboard to
house all the forms and reports. I decided the in built in switchboard
manager will not do what I want so I was thinking of just buiding my
own form.
However, I was wondering is there any prebuilt switchboards or
switchboard templates out there?
I found one that I like

I am trying to display information in Access on a form that takes
information from many different queries and puts them together on a
spreadsheet or chart.
Some specific info: The information I am displaying consists of a work
order schedule(for the current date), work orders completed , work
orders not completed, a past due schedule, past due completed, and past
due not completed. These are grouped by workcenters. Therefore, one...

I was working in Access and everything disappeared from the screen. When I
closed and reopened the file there was no switchboard. I can open tables and
forms etc if I select a category from the View > Database Objects menu, and
use the up/down keys and the Enter key, but I can't see what it is I am about
to open.
I was able to replicate this with another database by moving the switchboard
up past the top of the screen and scrolling up to...

I have recently inherited a database. The switchboard (and other forms)
displays the name of the database on it (top, center). Currently the
name that appears is Reviews. There are plans to roll out the
application (i.e. making copies of the database) to other locations
(Reviews-NY, Review-Dallas etc). If was mentioned today in passing by
the original developer that there is a way to change the title that
appears on the switchboard without...

Is it possible to display the file created & file modified information on a switchboard? I have designed the database so that when the user clicks on an icon on the switchboard, a form (linked to a table) with records will be displayed. Whenever the user modifies any record in the form, I want the date & time to be captured & stored on the switchboard. I don't care about the date & time when each record was modified (I have already implemented...

Hey all,
Thi question may be simple to most people on this group, but I'm a
newbie and can't figure this out. I have created a switchboard form and
I've been able to display it on startup of Access. However, I can't get
it to start up Maximized. I tried to look through the Form's
properties, yet no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I want users to be able to name the switchboard. I added a new field in the switchboard items table called name and changed the labels to txtboxs with a record source to name. If this isnull a form opens which allows the user to put a name into an unbound txtbox. When the form closes the values are transferred to the name txtbox on the switchboard. However, this only works for the first page of the switchboard. It has to be placed in all the...

In Acc2003, I have a situation in which I have a main switchboard and upon
pressing one of its buttons , takes the user to another sub hierarchical
switchboard. Pressing one of these buttons could take the user to another
switchboard or to forms within the topical heading of the switchboard.
What I would like to see is a "Screen Tip" type feature in which when the
mouse cursor is 'rested' upon a particular Switchboard button, the 'top...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
