I am trying to insert a Visio object into Microsoft Access so I can pop it
onto a Crystal Report. However, with a regular insertion as a BLOB, it will
show up in text in Access as "Long binary data". Then if I double-click on
it then, an error message will popup and the Visio document will not load.
However, if I go into Access and manually add the Visio drawing, there will
be a dialog asking what type of file you are inserting (or you...

Good day dear members of the comp.databases.ms-access newsgroup.
Please I need your help on the following.
I'm the administrator of an Access 2007 database.
I would like my enterprise personnel could add entries to one
specific
table by the use of an interface or form without launching the data
base (because the data is confidential).
We do not have Windows Share Point.
Please how can I do so ?

Hi all,
I use Access 2007 and have the following problems: when exporting
banal select queries (either to Excel or to a csv file) I find that
exporting often doesn't work and creates a file with the WHOLE
dataset, i.e. including those rows which the criteria of the query
excluded.
For example: let's say I have a database with sales by region. I
create a select query to only show sales from Europe. The query runs

I understand there is an add in that allows you to export to PDF in
Access 2007. My question is does anyone know if this add in allow you
to combine multiple reports in one PDF?
I am currently converting to 2007 and currently we use Ghostscript to
combine multiple reports in one PDF. I wanted to know if I could stop
using that and just use the new PDF add in that exists in 2007 to
combine multiple reports?
Thanks for you help.

I've made an Access 2007 database to store information about the lessonplans I have to make every schoolyear.
I want to export the data form the table "Lesvoorbereiding" (Lessonplans in English) to Word using a readymade template (NLD-LV1.dotx). All works well except for the multivalued fields 'Lesuur' (Lessonhour) and 'Werkvormen' (Used activities) and the field 'Lesverloop' (Lessonflow?), i.e. a field where you can link to documents, etc. on...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
