Sorry, Maniesh, we can't answer this kind of question. Firstly, what you ask is far too broad in scope - we'd have to design your 'password recovery wizard' for you from scratch, which is not what the forum is about. Secondly, the question itself looks like some kind of college or university coursework, and as our guidance notes at the head of the forum tell you we cannot do coursework questions for you, even if it was right and proper to ask us to (which it is not).

If you need assistance with something more specific please feel free to ask for our help.

I'm sorry, but this is not for any college course work project.
I was think more along the lines of visual baci srip which could access the table in the data base and recognise the user.

Please read what has been posted Maniesh.

If you don't post a question in a form we can help with, then it hardly matters whether or not it is an assignment (FAQ - How to Ask a Question).

We can also help with assignments, as long as it's clear we're guiding the member rather than doing it for them.

Trying to create a database - right click -> Create Database Wizard on the db instance - before I enter the username/password, the Create Database Wizard takes off doing *something* - the Progress pop-up showing Elapsed Time sits there for ten minutes or more before telling me the username/password is incorrect (of course it's incorrect, I haven't entered it yet). Anyone seen this before?

With Access 2.0 and ADT, one could create "stand-alone" apps that would launch using msarn20.exe. You didn't have to launch Access 2.0 then open your app. The tool used to create these runtime distributable applications was kinown as the ADT (Access Developer's Toolkit). It was not required that any person running your finished runtime bundle have Access 2.0 installed. That was the whole point of the ADT. What are the tools needed to do...

Hello again, I have to go home and read up on Access. But, I have read else-where in this newsgroup that I can just save the password in the database under scrutiny. Wouldn't it be wasteful to create a password column for all database entries?

Hello, I am a newbye, and I'm trying to write a simple application. I have five tables with three columns; all tables are identical; I need to change some data in the first table and let VB updates the same data in all other four tables in the right places. I know it would be possible by using the ForeignKeyConstraint object. I have created the tables using the DataSet Visual Tool and I know it doesn't create any ForeignKeyConstraint obj....

We used software from a now defunct company for many years and all of our data is stored in an access database. Two years ago our software was updated, but we never burned the new version to disk. The computer has now crashed and data recover is not possible on the drive. We have a backup of the database but only an older version of the program to access it. The older version does not show all of the fields in the newer version. We have found a...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
