How do,
I have a form with a number of textboxes that hide and unhide depending on a number or Laps of a Race. Currently I have this code to make them hide and unhide: -
Dim LapBox as String
-
-
For x = 1 To 9 'For each possible lap
-
LapBox = ("txtLap" & x) 'Reference the specific lap's textbox
-
If Laps >= x Then 'If the text box is required
-
With Me(LapBox) 'Using the Specific Textbox
-
.Visible = True 'Make it visible
-
End With
-
Else 'If it is not required
-
With Me(LapBox)
-
.Visible = False 'Make it invisible
-
End With
-
End If
-
Next x 'Go to next text box
What I want to do is, based on what the lap is and which Race Driver is selected, bring up their Stored Lap Time in the text box. I know that this is not the best way to display the time, but it is necessary to be able to edit the time is needs be.
The RaceDriverID comes from lstRaceDriver and the Lap is relative to the text bos it is going into, ie: Lap 1 time goes into the 1st text box, and the Lap Time is stored in tblLapTimes along with the RaceDriver ID, Lap number and LapID.
All help is much appreciated,

Hello, NDayave.
Does it all mean that data for different laps is stored in single table record?
Kind regards,
Fish.
Thanks for the response, but I have managed to sort this one out.
Thanks anyway,

I want to be able to generate SQL statements that will go through a list of
data, effectively row by row, enquire on the database if this exists in the
selected table- If it exists, then the colums must be UPDATED, if not, they
must be INSERTED.
Logically then, I would like to SELECT * FROM <TABLE>
WHERE ....<Values entered here>, and then IF FOUND
UPDATE <TABLE> SET .... <Values entered here> ELSE
INSERT INTO <TABLE> VALUES <Values...

Hello,
I have created 3 functions to insert, update and delete an Access
database record. The Insert and the Delete code are working fine.
The update is not. I checked and my database has all the necessary
records in it when testing it. I get the error "No value given for one
or more required parameters." when I try to update the database.
Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?

I've got an access97 reporting mdb that pulls data (77,000 rows) from a
sql server table into a local table to run reports
if the local table is part of the reporting MDB, the insert statement
(16 fields) takes less than 30secs, but because of db-bloat, I moved
the local table to a 2nd MDB
and per postings, this 2nd MDB is copied into a folder and linked as a
'temp' MDB every time I run my reporting mdb

Needing to import and parse data from a large PDF file into an Access
2002 table: I start by converted the PDF file to a html file. Then
I read this html text file, line by line, into a table using a code
loop and an INSERT INTO query. About 800,000 records of raw text.
Later, I can then loop through and parse these 800,000 strings into
usable data using more code.
The problem I have is that the conversion of the text file, using a...
