Microsoft has a searchable knowledgebase at:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1

The bugs I am aware of (just Access, not interactions with other software)
are listed here:

Good job. Thanks this will save me significant time.

Reading this all I am close to believe that it is no good idea to
switching away from Acc2k to 2k7. Except for that stupid Ribbon thing
(driving me nuts)... I thought MS learned its lesson because offering
the runtime in a 'nearly' similar way as it was in 2k - ok at that time
I bought it once for all apps & customers.

But this? Well... I am not very confident right now. Maybe should wait
for another one/two years. Maybe things will be solving themselves.

Again thank you for your link (and attached collection).

If I can help you out anyhow, anytime, let me know.

I've been clicking around Access 2007 Beta 2 and can't see the custom menu bar designer. Is it in the beta? Maybe I'm blind. The question that comes to mind is: Will custom menu bars be the same height as they were in previous versions or will they be the "ribbon" style that takes up a huge portion of the screen? Also when I use Access 2007 to open an Access 2003 database that has custom menu bars they display as they did in Access...

If you are looking for opinon on what's useful in Access 2007, there's a new article at: http://allenbrowne.com/Access2007.html Covers what's good (useful features), what's mixed (good and bad), what's gone (features removed), what's fixed (old issues solved), what's broken (new bugs), configuration, compatibility, should you buy, and links. It is opinion, so you may disagree, but hopefully it's an informative summary.

I've been having a click around Access 2007 this afternoon and have discovered some things that range from annoying to alarming. My Access 2003 menu bars, which I, like many others, use extensively, are now hidden behind an "Add Ins" tab on the Ribbon. Hardly an intuitive place for a user to find them. Unless my memory is failing me, I'm sure that Access 2003 menus displayed normally in the 2007 Beta. The other thing I've discovered...

Greetings. I want to run the two versions of Access on the same machine (2003 & 2007). I still need 2003 for most of my work, yet I need to start learning 2007. In my previous attempts at this, right after the release of 2007, I had problems with the installation dialog running every time I switched versions. Along with file association issues. I was hoping to find a work around to this, assuming that 8+ months later there would be a...

I am trying to use the Access 2007 runtime. I have a program that is fully working in 2007 but when I install the runtime version with same Operating system and Access 2003 installed I have multiple errors. One error "Function is not available in table level validation expression." This error occurs three times. when I have a two part delete query or a lookup function that checks for a duplicate entry and a update query that adds a...

Hi I need help. I have a ms access 2003 database that I would like to upgrade to ms access 2007. The first time I opened I had to fix a few references it wanted a DAO2535.TLB file witch I gave it, and a utility.mda file witch I think i gave it. The instructions on Microsoft's web sight were not very clear where to put the utility.mda so I am not sure if I have it at the right place. The Database does not ask for it anymore. I have...

I am going to have to start holding jpg files (about 6,000 - 10,000 a year) in our school database. Mainly, they will end up being printed as part of the children's profiles ie via a report. I understand that Access 2007 can hold images without the associated bloat created by previous versions. However, I am reasonably used to Access 2003 and would only want to upgrade if there were significant advantages in the way Access 2007 handles...

Hi !! I'm about to develop a new project for a client. Should I go about it in Access 2003 or 2007 ? Purchasing it either for me or for my client is not a major consideration here ... what I'd like to know is the stability, speed & ease of use of both the products. I believe Access 2007 has a new file format too and that it may be slower.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
