As I see it, there are two camps to whom we need to be "fair" in this:
1) Those who would reject the syntax if it used an...

I am not referring to the standard PrintDialog. This dialog pops up every time my printdocument.printpage event fires. He only has one button - "Cancel" and contains no other controls
I am printing multiple documents in a batch and this guy just flashes all over the place. It looks really bad but even worse, is significantly slowing performance
I cannot find a setting anywhere that will suppress this dialog.
Anyone?

I need a dialog box with Yes, No, and Cancel buttons that pops up when a
link is clicked.
I'm using asp on the server side, and basically, if the user clicks yes, I
want to go to a certain page and pass a certain variable value. For example:
href="my_page.asp?answer=yes"
If they click no, I would call :

Hi all.
I'm using one PC/XP Pro as my development environment. Its IIS has one
default web site, of course, which is the site I'm working on. When some
feature is finished I deploy it to my "production" site which is hosted
somewhere else. Very common situation, I guess.
This app uses email to notify customers of some particular events. Works on
production, but sometimes I need to change something in the way those
notifications work....

Hi,
I need to provide the user with the option to click something, and what
follows is:
1. Download a word document, without displaying winword.
2. Printing the document to the default printer (no print dialog should
pop).
3. Close word.
All of this must be completely "transparent" to the user, just like a

Hi,
I am aware that the "Printing" dialog displayed by a PrintDocument during the invocation of the doc.Print method can be suppressed by setting the doc's PrintController property to an instance of StandardPrintController.
But I would like to suppress the "Printing" dialog when the doc is rendered in a PrintPreviewControl - does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Emby

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
