I've created a report with many subreports of aggregate data. I want my
client to be able to export this data to Excel to make her charts, etc. Only
one problem: one of the fields is a "SchoolYear" TEXT field that contains
data such as 2000/01, 2001/02, etc. If I export a Query with this kind of
data to Excel, it gives me the text value of this field; however, when I
export a Report bound to this TEXT field, Excel gives me the values 36526,...

I have an app that gives a user an option to pull an online report into

I have the rows formatted in a couple different colors, with a grey
header & footer.
No matter what colors the alternating (and regular) rows are between the
header & footer, they come out an off-white color.

Hi,
I have a problem with excel 2007. I have gridview where a report
result is being shown when the report are exported it is saved in an
excel file. In excel 2003 it is working fine .But in Excel seems like
Export to Excel is broken. May just be an Excel 2007 issue.
Please give me a sujestion for how to approach to solve the problem.

I have a .net application that uses Crystal Reports to display
reports. When a report is exported to Excel the number fields are
transposed to text in Excel requiring the users to format any number
columns.
Any idea on how I can get the report to retain it's datatype when
exporting to Excel?

Hi! I have exported an access table data into an excel file using the following code. However, the code exported all the data to the excel sheet starting from 'A' cell (first column). But I want to export all the data into the excel starting from cell B (second column) and include the heading "Extract Policy" followed by checkboxes in 'A' cell.
Can anyone suggest me how to do this? Thanks a million in advance.

I have a report in crystal report when I export it to excel each column will be shown in 2 or 3 merged columns!!!
The worst part is that sometimes the header of the column is in the A and B columns but the details of this columns are in B and C in excel sheet!!!
