I have a large form, that has text boxes of numbers in rows and
columns. I need to sum the values in the columns, and put the total at
the bottom of the column. But I also need to sum the values in each
row, and put the total at the end of the row.
What is the javascript to sum the values to a few text boxes, and how
would I write the script for these totals to run all at once?
Thanks.

Hi
I have a table that currently has 466 columns and about 700,000
records. Adding a new DEFAULT column to this table takes a long time.
It it a lot faster to recreate the table with the new columns and then
copy all of the data across.
As far as I am aware when you add a DEFAULT column the following
happens:

I have an Access 2002 database with many tables and forms (but just to
keep things simple, let's say the DB has one Table "Table1" and one
Form "Form1").
I have managed to cobble together so much complex code to add records
and edit records I need to step back and ask you all what is the
proper way to do this. The database is DAO. The table has Columns
SerialNumber, CPU, HardDrive and Model. I am trying to use a Form to

Trying to figure out the technique which should be used
to add rows to a datagrid. I am thinking that I would
want an "Add" button on the footer, but I am not quite
sure how to do that. Is that the best method? Do you
have a sample of how to do this?

Hi everyone
I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this. I'm just starting to try to work with MS Access tables through VB.net. In Access I can take an existing table and add a new field with the type AutoNumber. I can then set this up as a key. Then if I go into the table I will see sequential numbers have been inserted into that field for me. Can I do this through VB.net
I'd appreciate any help or alternative suggestions...

Hi,
I'm adding columns to a datatable as followed. The values are from
textboxes or comboboxes.
The first column is properly field but then all the subsequent columns
just contain "", whereas the source txtboxes or comboboxes values are
correct. Why is that ?
thx
Dim dt As New DataTable

I can import a csv file with no problem. I can also add columns to the
datagrid upon import. I want to be able to start importing at the 3rd
row. This will pick up the headers necessary for the datagrid. Once I
can get to that point I need some way to be able to add new data only
to the new columns that were added.
Here is some of my code:
//Function For Importing Data From CSV File
public DataSet ConnectCSV(string filetable)

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...
