Hi,
Using the script below, when you click on the radio button beside click here
.... the first row shrinks.
Has anybody else ever experienced this?
Does anybody know of a logical explaination for this?
A co-worker told me it is not valid HTML. He may be right, but we both
agree; it's odd that IE would handle it when the form is loaded, but not

Hello
I have a report, which lists records. Each record has money paid
field. Money paid can be 0 or not 0. I calculate and print summary of
money for a group in the group footer, as well as summary of money for
all groups the report footer. When there is at least one record with
money >0, group and report footers are appropriate and look OK.
When all records are with 0 money, footers look silly. I’d like
not to print them. I have placed...

Hi all,
I have a report that prints quotations with images of the stock item
if there is an image. images are externally stored. My problem is that
when there is an image to display and the description text box which
is to the left of the image is more then one line of text(can grow =
true), the report section increases in size and leaves a white space
between the next record below. If there is an image to display with
only one line of...

Hi:
I have a report that contains a remarks field which is a "memo" format field. I have that
field on a single line in the report, and have it given a property of "Can Shrink", in the
hope that he line will vanish when there is no data entered in the memo field. Its not
shrinking! There is nothing else on the line, and no field name or anything else. I have
tried shrinking it to a single small line and saying "Can Grow", but its growing...

Hi.
I have a problem with alternating background colors in a report. The
code below shows, that the first line should always be white (default
global boolean value is false). However it depends on the number of
records upon which the report is based. If the number of records is odd,
the first line is grey; if it's even, the first line is white (how it
should be).
I included so much debug.print lines to nail down the source of the

Folks,
I've got a database and tablespaces "managed by automatic storage".
I've deleted a lot of data from some tables. I've then reorged them. But
the tablespaces don't appear to shrink in size (they just have lots of free
space).
How can I get DB2 to give the space back ?

How much bloat does the STL produce? Is it a good design

(The "C++ Grammer" thread in comp.lang.c++.moderated prompted this post).
It would be more than a little bit nice if C++ was much "cleaner" (less
complex) so that it wasn't a major world wide untaking to create a toolchain
for it. Way back when, there used to be something called "Small C". I wonder
if the creator(s) of that would want to embark on creating a nice little
Small C++ compiler devoid of C++ language features that make...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
