This depends rather on how your data is stored. Please provide table meta-data for the table you would like to sift through.

This will work much better if you can post the meta-data (info about the layout / structure) of the table in the same way as I use in my example. Click on the Reply button and you will have access to all the codes I've used.
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Table Name=[tblStudent]
  2. Field; Type; IndexInfo
  3. StudentID; AutoNumber; PK
  4. Family; String; FK
  5. Name; String
  6. University; String; FK
  7. Mark; Numeric
  8. LastAttendance; Date/Time

I have been able to set up a Find Record Button on my switchboard to take me to a form with the correct case number by using a parameter query and macro. When I try to run the Find Record button from the macro on the form I want to find the record in it just sits there and does not run. Could someone tell me how to fix this? Please be specific as I am new to Access.

I'm having problem with using DAO recordset to append record into a table and subsequent code to update other tables in a transaction. The MDB is Access 2000 with the latest service pack of JET 4. The system is client/server, multiusers based. The MDBs are using record locking. Here is part of the code: Dim wkSpace As Workspace, db As Database Dim rstTrans As DAO.Recordset Set wkSpace = DBEngine.Workspaces(0)

I am trying to move a record from one linked table to another within access, but I'm a complete beginner to VBA and don't know exactly where to begin. I have an access file that has the two linked tables, which each link to separate SQL databases using separate ODBC connections. I have a form that has a view of table1 and a set of buttons for manipulating the data in database1.

When the user enters a zipcode that is unknown this form will open. I don't want users to modify any of this customers data until they close the zipcode form. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
