Selecting multiple external files via command button

I have a form where specific external files are selected by the user depending on needs. Each item listed on the form has 4 Yes/No boxes next to it where they select what they want. The result will be multiple items having multiple files selected.

I want to be able to then hit a command button and print the selected files. They consist of docs and pdfs which have hyperlinks saved in corresponding fields for each category. I'm at a loss on how to make the connections being that they are not reports IN Access and they are not always the same selections. I am using Access 2003 with a mixture of macros and VB (being more familiar with macros).

Any suggestions? Thanks

I hope someone will tell me how to do this without having to do any VB as I know nothing in that area. I am a rank beginner in using Access. I have created a database consisting of student athletes.  I have now learned how to join two different tables in a query so that I might generate a report. Specifically, student athletes at a community college are required to graduate with an AA or AS degree.  Consequently, various steps are in...

Hello. Though Python supports threading, I think it is limited to python code - as soon as you issue a command that uses an external (C?) module, all of your python threads hang until this command returns. Is that true? I'm using urllib2 to download many files, and I have a double problem: 1. downloading all of them is painfully slow since it's serial - one has to finish before the next request gets sent. 2. my GUI becomes non responsive...

I have a datalist with multiple controls in the itemtemplate which can be selected. For example, a button can be clicked to vote on a topic, and upon selection it increments by 1. If I click on a second item from the same row in the datalist, such as another vote button, or a hyperlink, the row disappears and shows as a blank in the data list. I traced the second click and found that the ItemCommand section is never called for the...

Hi all. I stuck here and need some help. I have created a combo box which contains a list of links to external PDF files. I also created a OPEN command button next to the combo box. I want to be able to select a file from the list and use the command button to open this external PDF file. I already know how to use just a command button to open an external file. However, it is very time consuming to use command buttons when you have...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
