Generating an Outlook 2003 Appointment from Access 2000

Hi All,

Can anyone help me to generate an Outlook 2003 Appointment that can be generated from an Access 2000 form?

I have looked at some of the previous posts on this subject (both on TheScripts as well as other sources) but because my understanding of vba is so limited, I havent been able to make much sense of them.

If anyone has the grace and patience to put it on a lower shelf for me, I'd be greatly appreciative (I promise, I will be taking a class on vba soon!).

Anyway, I currently have a form that generates Work Orders. These Work Orders require an initial meeting to be scheduled, and I've been asked if rather than just generating an email, if it can generate an Outlook Calendar appointment that can be sent out to the appropriate participant(s) so they can just click "accept".

Thank you all for your continued patience...

My question...

Is it possible for me to generate Outlook objects in an ASP.NET application on a web server (like a calander event for example) and then attach that object to an email so that the recipient can open it and add a calander event to THEIR Outlook file? I already know how to send mail using the SmtpMail object. If it is possible, how difficult is it? And are there any good examples, tutorials, or books that could point me in this direction...

I have a database that is used to book venues and assign people to those venues. The person doing the booking can send an appointment request from Access to an individuals Outlook calendar. This part of the system works fine. I can also send a cancelled appointment request from Access to the same individual for the same appointment but for some reason Outlook is not recognising the cancel request as being for the original appointment so when...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
