Hello,
I am building my first .Net Application. The first couple of Publish
and Installs I did went fine. But after a couple of builds, I get a
modal dialogue box error every time upon trying to install using the
setup.exe. Title is "Cannot Start Application" and it says:
====================
Cannot download the application. The application is missing required
files. Contact application vendor for assistance.

I am in the process of upgrading an old Access ADP/SQL 2000 App to Access
2007 ADP/SQL 2005.
There are a lot of buttons in the Access form which are calling Access
Macros, the Macros call Stored Procedures in the SQL database. This is
resulting in '2950 Error' for all the macros.
Here is Microsoft' answer for that error:

Can I get the name of a procedure from within the procedure? In my error
handler, I write the error to an error table. I'd like to write the name of
the procedure that's writing the error. But, rather than customizing each
error handler with the procedure name, it would be nice to be able to call a
system variable or function that gives me the procedure name and module
name. Is that possible?

I have recently installed Office 2007 (SP1) retaining the previous
installation of Office 2003.
I have converted an Access 2003 database to Access 2007. The database
contains the VBA code 'DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdLinkTables' to initiate
the dialog box to rebuild links to tables held in a back-end Access
database (which has also been converted from Access 2003 to Access
2007).
The code runs without problem in the original Access 2003...

Hello
I develop my applications in Access 2002. My development system is
running Windows XP SP2 and I have Microsoft Office XP Developer.
Microsoft Office XP is at SP3.
I used Inno Setup (great product) to install my applications.
When the Access Runtime was needed on the system I simply ran
'accessrt.msi' from Microsoft Office Developer discs.
When another version of Access (other than Access 2002) was on the
system then I simply...

The application was built in Access 2000 and upgraded to Access 2002
and currently runs on desktops with Access 2002, 2003 and 2007 in
multi user environment.
The MDB file executes the expression fine without error yet the MDE
file displays a #NAME? error in the textbox
on some of the desktops, I can not determine why the expression fails
on only some of the desk tops. The date settings all appear to be the

I am continuing to develop an Access 2007 application which was
originally converted from Access 2003. In Access 2003 I was able to
disable the Access Close button in the top righthand corner of the
screen. I have been unable to find any way to disable this button in
Access 2007 and subsequently I have been forced to find ways to detect
and handle the situations after the Access Close button has been
clicked.
I have been largely...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
