Quick Question - Row Source, Unique values required

Hi guys, probably an easy one for you.

I know how to limit a row source sor a combo on a form (setting unique values). The problem i'm having is that the query is the record source for a continuous subform within my main form. I am then limiting the form by making the criteria in the query the textboxes / comboboxes in the main form header.

I need to limit the continuous subform by machine (for a scheduling db) but I want the rows within the combo for 'machine' taken from the query that is the record source for the subform itself.

I have done the following:

Query criteria for 'Machine':
[Forms]![Frm_Schedule]![ComboMachine]

I then set the combo up and set it up with:
Name: ComboMachine
Row Source Type: Table/Query
Row Source: Query_Schedule
Bound Column: 3

...the list is working as it brings up the possible machines that are in the query but it lists them in the order they are in the query with repeat values, is there any way of making these unique to pick from?

Hi

I think that you need to check Query_Schedule says something like

"SELECT DISTINCTROW Field1, Field2 etc"
