Hi there,
I'm encountering an inexplicable problem with page formatting in
reports. Here's the easiest way to explain it:
The Detail section of my report contains two elements:
And let's say I have the following VB code for the Detail_Format

How do I get all fields on one page of a report?
I have a report that has a column for each day of the week and 6 records for
each day. I need each weekday's records returned on only one detail page.
Instead I am getting a new table layout for each day of the week. I have tried
grouping on every record and combination I can, manipulating the Group
Properties but can't get it right. I have the entire report in the Detail
Section, with...

Hi Everyone;
In a report, I've essentially recreated a paper sheet by adding various
labels--name, date, problem, year, Progress Notes, etc.--and horizontal
lines (people have traditionally written notes). I made all of these
in the Page Header section. By the way, this is a report form to track
the daily progress of students.
--Report Header--none.
--Grouping section--yes. The report form has a StudentID Header, which

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to force a pagebreak in code. I'm having a tough
time, the first page formats properly until the condition is met and then
forces a new page. The problem is, every page after that forces a new page
after a single record. I'm trying to force the page after 12 records. The
code is pretty simple. I have a footer called "BreakFooter" that i have
associated with the ID field, so each detail record is unique....

Folks,
I have four subreports in a report in the detail section. I suppose I
could move them to the footer of the report. Anyway, if any of them
have data, I want the main report to force a page break. I am trying
to use the "hasdata" property for the subreports, but I am getting the
generic error indicating property not available for object.
How does one tell the main report (using VBA) not to throw in a page
break unless the...

Most suggestions on this topic recommend to use a page footer and make
it visible only on the last page. My problem is that the footer is half
of the height of a page which means the detail would show on only the
top half of each page with whitepace at the bottom of each page.
How can I get the detail to fill each page with my "half page height"
report footer at the bottom of the last page?
Any suggestions to solve this would be...

I have to create a report, that contains in the section body a list of
record.
For every record it has to appear an incremental additional field that
begins from One; when he reaches the record 50, it is had to activate a page
break and the following record leaves again with numeration equal to one.
How can I do?

I'm using AC2003. Sequence of events:
a. Tool -> Relationships
I show my tables & relationships and arrange them to fit landscape mode.
b. File ->Print Relationships
This generates a report in portrait mode with name/date etc. in report header section, an empty page header section, and diagram of relationships in detail section.
c. I go into setup, change to landscape orientation and adjust margins so my "print" is not too...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
