Object Menu Missing

When I moved my database onto another computer, the object menu disappeared,
and I cannot design or edit the database anymore.

Does the other computer have the same version of Access installed?

First Access : 11.6566.8132 SP2
Second Access: 11.5614.5606
There are probably some other versions around the office too.

Moving the DB file back onto the old computer has not helped.

here is some code to add right click context menus. in the few apps I've edited sofar, it just works, once you run rCbinder with the root of the gui or bind B3 all present and future widgets will have right click. there will be a line something like root=Tk.mainloop() #or Tkinter.mainloop() in epydoc it was necessary to look into the gui class and find one of the attributes has the root.

I have some code that adds entries to the "Module Compiled" popup menu. Works fine in A97. You can open a module, right click, and the new entries are there for you to click. I converted it to A2000, and reapplied the new entries. But now when you open a module and right click (in A2K), the new entries are nowhere to be seen. If (while in the database window) you click on View, Toolbars, Customize, Toolbars tab, tick the Shortcut Menus...

Hi folks, I have an Access 2003 app that works perfectly on my computer. However, when we install it on OTHER computers that ALSO have access 2003 we get an error on startup: Error: -2147467259 Method 'Visible' of object 'ComandBar' failed! At this point, I am stumped. Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

I use Menu navigation control in an ascx, the Menu if filled with Menuitems during Load event. Sub-MenuItems are added to the ChildItems collection. But on the display the behavior of menu is not working: everything is written in the same column, without any level considerations. When I move mouse on dynamics elements, they disappear and never come back. Is there a problem using Menu in ascx, is there a conflict in javascript. Is it...

I have Access 2003 SP2. When I open any database annd choose Tools / Database Utilities the menu item Compact And Repair is missing. I have re-installed Office 2003 using Detect and Repair but this hasn't helped. I have other versions of Office loaded on my machine including Access 97, Access 2000, Access 2002 and Access 2003.

Re: ArrayList, Sort, Menu, IComparer, Object, multidemensional I have a multi-dimensional arraylist, and I would like to sort one level of it but not all. The multi-dimensional arraylist represents my menu system, and I would like to sort the third level menu items only and not the first two. So, I've been trying to use some of the suggestions I've found here about sorting. Mainly, I've created a comparison interface.

Has anyone ever had some of their menu commands come up missing in Access? Some time ago I made some custom toolbars from the Format menu mostly. Ever since then, I have missing command options under the Format menu in my other databases. Am I going crazy? I tried to restore the defaults on the toolbars and to the menus bo to no avail. How can I restore all of the menu commands? (For example, I no longer have the option to "Send to Back"...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
