Tabbed versus tiled views in Access 2007

I am a new Access 2007 user. I have noticed that tables and forms
appear in a tabbed arrangement in the main application area. How do I
switch this to tiled?

DB2 8.2 LUW FP14 Is there any real difference between select blahblahblah... where blah IN (select blah......) versus select blahblahblah... where blah = ANY (select blah.....) versus select blahblahblah... where exists (select blah.....) Is one more ANSI than another? Which is most portable?

The new tabbed interface in access 2007, has led to one interesting problem. With a report shown in preview mode, and maximized, it just becomes a new tab. The user can click back over to the form, and if they make changes, they expect it to appear in the already previewed report (which it won't). So the question is how to prevent this. Either make every other standard form invisible in a report's On-Open event, or find another way? I...

A lot of research has been done to prove that the contention that C code is more efficient and more compact than equivalent C++ code is a myth. My posting pertains to a slightly different aspect of this debate. Here are my two questions: 1) Does anyone have any information on comparison of C and C++ software written for the ARM processor? 2) Are there any compiler and CPU dependencies that have to be factored in while debating this...

Hi Using access 2007 in MDE All tabbed forms opened as maxmised with no restore or minimised buton. A lot of my forms look really ugly if maximised. Anyway to open it not maximsed or get the retore buttons to display? I am still looking for a way to get the restore and close buton back in my reports. Yes I can CTRL + F4 to close the report but to teach each and every client this is not a very elegant way. Else they must close the

This is probably simple but: when using tabbed forms in A2007, is there a simple way to prevent the user from right-clicking on a form tab and choosing "Design View" other than disabling default shortcut menus?

I have done some programming in 2003, and I have to now maike some additions. The Agency has upgraded to 2007. I am having a bit of trouble with the user interface. In previous versions of Access, there was a "database window" which allowed me to navigate quickly between tables, queries etc, in both design or normal views etc. I found this in 2007 as some kind of sidebar, but then I FORGOT how to summon that device whenever I want it....

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
