97 New Member
Hi,

Does anybody know why I am getting the "Write Conflicts" error when I am opening my ACCESS database this morning even before making any changes at all?

What are the specifics of your situation?

Linked database? Admin account? Single Database user? Multiuser? Access version?

Is the problem still happening, or has it been resolved?

These target files are C-ISAM files used for accounting applications so the "primary" application may be reading and/or writing to portions of the files ("records") at the same time. The python class we developed opens the requested file in 'rb' mode, reads the file header (first 512k) and using information supplied in the file header (such as...

Suppose you want to write a subclass of some existing class you are importing from a module you didn't write and that you don't want to study the internals of, and you want to define a data member i in your constructor. As in the following: from module1 import A class B(A):

In Access 2000 I have a split database with a replicated back end. For synching, I open the replic and synch one way to the design master. This all works fine. I opened the design master one day and the replica a different day and found there to be conflicts with the conflict resolution form asking what to do. Am I supposed to open just the replica or just the design master to resolve these conflicts? Is one better than the other or...

Hi Access 200. I have a replica and its associated master. When I try to open any of these dbs, I get the message "This member of the replica set has conflicts from synchronizing changes with other members. Do you want to resolve these conflicts now?". When I select 'Yes', I get the below message. Basically the conflict revolver is not coming up so I can't view and resolve the conflicts. What is the problem and how can I fix it? This...

I recently rolled out replication on our production server (MS SQL 2000 SP4) and every time a subscriber tries to sync the following always appears in the Merge Agent History: "Downloaded 100 data changes (0 inserts, 100 updates, 0 deletes, 0 conflicts)" Then at the very end of the "Action Messages" the following appears: "Merged 31489 data changes (453 inserts, 30893 updates, 143 deletes, 14

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
