Hi all

I just changed my Access 2002 database to a SQL Server ADP project. I
had a form where the user entered a value into a text box and when a
command button on the form was clicked a Report was opened. The reports
record source is a query. The query uses the value from the form text
box to restrict the query.
Table name = EggsTable
one of the columns in the table is named: EggColor
Form name = EggColorForm
Form text box name = ColorTextBox

I am opening a report from a form. How do I get the report to open in front
of the form? I tried setting the form's Visible property to False and the
report displayed too small to preview. To try and overcome that I added
DoCmd.Runcommand acZoom100 to the code and the report displayed with only
about one inch sticking out of the left side of the screen.

Ok, I admit it, I bit off a bit more than I can chew.
I need to complete this "Generate Report" page for my employer and I'm
a little over my head. I could use some additional assistance. I say
additional because I've already had help which is greatly appreciated.
I do try to take the time and understand the provided script in hopes
on not having to trouble others on those. But here it goes...

1. I am workin' on a GUI application. Does C# provides Layout Managers the
way Java does to design GUI? I know that it can be done using the designer
but I intentionally don't want to use that. The one reason is that you
cannot change the code generated by the designer. The other could be that

I am writing a VB (2005) program that will allow the user to fill out and
print a form. The form input is stored in a database (SQL 2005) to be
retrieved/viewed/printed later. The form is originally a Word Document, I
also have this form as a PDF. Appearance and quality is critical for this
form.. so what I thought I'd do is convert the form to a bitmap, use a
picture object on my VB form and overlay textbox (no border) controls on top...

Hello,
I have a form that generates a report. After the code is executed that creates the tables behind the report, it opens the report via VB. But when it opens the report in preview, it puts it behind my form. How do I make it come to the front so I don't have to close the form? I want the user to be able to close the report when their done printing or looking at it and have the form back so they can generate it again if they want.

I have a DB that I developed on access XP (2002) and deployed over a
year ago. No one has had problems printing any of the reports within
the DB until we started loading 2007 on new computers. The access
2007 users cannot print one of the reports. This is maddening since I

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
