Hi All,
I have a form that needs to be placed on the web. The form contains a subform.
The relationship from the form to the sub-form is 1 to many. Can this type of
form be converted to a Data Access Page? Data on both forms must be updatable.
If this can be done, can anyone recommend a book on Data Access Page. The
Running Microsoft Access Book I have only devotes a few pages to Data Access
Pages. Thanks!

I have developed a Data access page in access 2002.
I want to deploy it on my webserver ( IIS 5.1).
However i get an error with the connection string to the database.
In the source of my data access page I have replaced the line,
Data source = C:\root\dap.mdb with
Data source = http://123.23.12.31/dap.mdb ( just some ip address )
I have set the root directory of the webserver to c:\root.

I must warn all of you willing to help me that this is my first go at
designing a functional data access page. Please bear in mind that we
all start somewhere so if I should be asking the absolute dumbest
questions you've heard in a while remember I'm not the first. I am
specifically looking for step by step direction. I also feel I must
make you aware of my dedication. You see, I need to complete this
project to get a nice bonus for...

Folks,
Someone I know is using Microsoft Access 2003 to create a Data Access
Page. They have inserted a Quick Time Movie. When they view the page
(the HTML version of the page) and run the film, the audio sound plays,
but not the video.
I have searched Technet, as well as the resources found here on Google
Groups. I have not been able to find anything about this. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have encountered a very unique problem (for me):
I created a data access page, with 3 levels of groups. I put the file on
the web folder (intranet), and it seems like everything is working fine.
However, the data access page, when opened from my computer, allows user
to add new record to the page. When it is opened from other computer,
the "add record" button is inactive.
One thing I notice is that, the page has the "add record"...

Hi Guys,
This should be quite simple but my brains are being seriously racked.
I have created a data access page as the report I want to generate is 4 pages (too long for a regular report). Access page looks good and works well with my query. The problem is, it will only print off in landscape regardless of how many times I change it to portrait. I have edited it both in Access and Frontpage by editing the actual html document. I have...

I am currently creating a database for a new company that we acquired. There are a small number of private sales reps based out of their homes. Initially, these people were sending in files/order forms(mostly excel files) of their sales that need to be entered in one database. With all of these reps providing bad data without constraints, generating reports with good data will be a nightmare. Managers have looked at having someone implement this...

Hi - I'm putting together a status report summary for a team of about 15 based in the US (various places), London, Hong Kong, etc. The users have expressed interest in using a web form (data access page), which I have submitting data to an Access db on a shared network repository. They want the forms to be saved in a Sharepoint repository for easy access. So far, so good.
Where I need a little help is in setting the data access page to...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
