Creating Tables

2 New Member
Hello,
Is there a way either via a make table query or code to create multiple tables with the same format.
eg if table 1 had ccy, ccy1 and ccy2 as fields I would like to create additional tables with the same fields but with different names. I know you can create one table via a standard make table query - is there a way of creating multiple tables?

Thanks in advance

You can loop a make table query in VBA. But you can't do it with queries alone.

I have an Access 2000 MDB with ODBC linked tables to a SQL Server 7 back end. I currently have a selections table in the front end file which the users use to make selections of records. The table has two fields -- primary key (which matches primary key of main, SQL Server table), and a boolean field. The table is linked to the main table in a heterogeneous inner join. I'm looking to move the table to the back end, while still giving each...

Problem: My company generates its own data export from a propietary database. These (free) tables can be read in C#.NET using a Visual FoxPro driver (vfpoledb). I can read each of the six tables into its own datatable, modify them, and add them to a dataset. It take approximately 15 minutes to pass that dataset to Crystal Reports (45 minutes if the report uses three subreport datasets). Then it takes over 7 hours for Crystal to...

I have created a database with about 17 tables. I have been creating foreign keys some of which have worked but when creating others I get the message below ************************* 1005 (ER_CANT_CREATE_TABLE) Cannot create table. If the error message refers to errno 150, table creation failed because a foreign key constraint was not correctly formed.

Hi, i have a situation where I need to dynamically create objects in a loop. My question surrounds intantiation naming in such a scenerio. Below is a snippet that is basically hardcoding each object. My problem is that I would like to create the objects dynamically but I can't figure out how to do it How would I go about dynamically creating the required objects so that I could be using anywhere from 2 - 10 etc. ?

I am using a slightly outdated reference book on J2EE programming. It gives 2 methods of creating a database used in its casestudies. The first is an ANT script that gives the following output: D:\original\CaseStudy-2-5\CaseStudy\Day02\exercise>asant database Buildfile: build.xml env-user: prop-user: set-user:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
