You have (accidentally) posted this question in the Access Articles section. This is NOT an article.
I'm moving this to the main Access questions forum.

We'll need some information related to your query (the SQL might be a useful start) if we're to help any.
A tip for future questions - You'll get more people willing to help if you phrase the question well and include relevant information. "Pls Help !!!!" after a poorly put question is merely likely to irritate bearing in mind the site rules on How to Ask a Question.

I have already reposted this question in this forum and given the query in that post.

Thanks.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll get around to tidying it up later as I need to go away for a bit now.
Next time you can use the Report facility as that is designed to handle this sort of thing ;) I do appreciate the info though :)

Actually, merging these two threads at this stage is only going to make following it even more complicated. I've read the SQL and I wasn't surprised to see that no effort had been made to find out which bits the error was related to first. Nor was it even posted in CODE tags until I did it for you. Frankly I'm not prepared to do any more work for you if you're clearly not prepared to do anything without being pushed first.

PS. I'm closing this to stop the confusion of having two posts for the same question.

Please can anyone tell me how I can create a macro to save the results of a query as an excel file? The query is called Student List and I would like to save it to "My Documents". We have had some problems with our database crashing. We would therefore like another way to have access to basic student data and thought we automatically save the results of this query when we close Access. Any suggestions on how we could do this would be...

I would like help resolving this problem. I'm a novice who's been hired to query a hospital database and extract useful information, available to me only in a dynamically generated, downloadable .mdb. The query below query runs correctly and without error, but any attempt to save it causes Access to crash without a message, leaving the .ldb file. Opening the DB reveals it saved a blank "query1". I've upgraded to Jet SP 8, and I'm running...

Ok, before I headbutt the computer... don't know why when I add criteria in a query, I get an 'invalid procedure call'. I also don't know why after searching the help in access, the various access newsgroups, the access support centre, I can seem to find no similar situation. I am not using any references, or VBA at all in the first place. I am trying to set up a simple (or so I thought) query to work with the text of two tables. ...

I'm using Access 2000. I currently have a report being generated using the results of a query by form. The form used for this query is an unbound form, frmListDialog. frmListDialog contains two unbound text boxes, txtExamTitle and txtExamNumber. The user enters either the exam title in txtExamTitle or the exam number in txtExamNumber as a parameter for the query. This is currently working fine, however because the exam titles are...

I am using MS Access 2003, and I typed in a query in SQL view which was working fine. Now when I open it, it gives me the error "Join expression not supported". Apparently, Access "fixed" it for me. Unfortunately, I can't correct it because when I click "OK", the window disappears. I don't see any way to open the query directly in SQL view, and both the Design and Data views exit as soon as I close the error dialog. Is there any way...

Hello everyone. I have a table linked to an excel spreadsheet. I have an append query based on this link table. I receive an error when I run the append query "numeric field overflow". I have noticed that when I open then save the append query and then run it I get no error. I am assuming that the error is being caused by Access Optimizing. The easy solution to my problem is if it is possible to run some VB code that will save my...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
