Access 2000:
I have a customer-inventory table I need to loop through and compile a list
of all the inventory items the customer is tracking. The problem I am
finding is that a simple loop will pull out the customer details each time
their is an inventory item listed....I need to get the customer out ONCE and
list his items....is there an elegant way to do this:

Hello, I'm looking for a little input on this situation.
I'm working on an inventory system and was thinking that I'd like to
build it similiar to the way a bank keeps track of your funds.
If you look at at bank statement, for each line item, you'll normally
see at least date/time, description, amount (plus or minus value), and
balance.

In my application, when an order is entered, inventory is automatically
adjusted, a pull list is created, items are pulled to fill the order, and the
order is packaged for shippment. The order is then held pending payment and

Hi
I know this has been done to death....but obviously at some point in the dim
and distant past!
I wish to program a retail database for my shop, I have trawled many forums
and I only manage to see "search for inventory, this has been done many
times before...", without ever actually coming across the method ;(
Could some kind person just give an overview of the 'correct' way to achieve
this please?
