Access 2007 Attachment field problem

184 New Member
Hi all

I have a bit of a strange problem where I want to set a table field in Access 2007 to an attachment field, but when I follow the Microsoft workmethod, I get no option in Access for attachment. It should be there, but hey, it's not!

Here is the workmethod I am following : http://office.microsof t.com/en-us/access/HA012138521033. aspx?pid=CH1007 28901033

Does anyone have this same problem, or does anyone know why I might not have this problem?

Thanks

Duh!!!

Found the problem.... The database I was trying to add attachment fields to was originally saved in 2002/2003 format. After saving it in 2007 format, I can add attachment fields fine.

How will Access fair in a year? Two years? .... The new version of Access seems to service non programmers as a wizard interface to quickly create databases via a fancy wizard. Furthermore, why would you even continue to use Access as a backend when you have a much superior option in SQL express? What about as a future front-end development tool? Let's get serious. Microsoft continues to publish numerous articles and videos on how you...

I am developing an application using asp.net where a user can enter first name, last name, donation amount, date, et cetera. After the user enters the information and clicks submit, the information is written/stored into an Access 2007 database, which works well. I am now wanting to allow a user to upload an image of themselves along with their text information and have that image stored in a field of the Access 2007 database. I have...

I've made an Access 2007 database to store information about the lessonplans I have to make every schoolyear. I want to export the data form the table "Lesvoorbereiding" (Lessonplans in English) to Word using a readymade template (NLD-LV1.dotx). All works well except for the multivalued fields 'Lesuur' (Lessonhour) and 'Werkvormen' (Used activities) and the field 'Lesverloop' (Lessonflow?), i.e. a field where you can link to documents, etc. on...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
