Hi there,
In a textbox containing a string of ID numbers each separated by a
comma, how can I keep only the first value, and then remove all of the
other numbers and commas behind it? The first value may contain 1 or
2 or more characters.
Thanks much,
Eric 2 1577

Thnaks in advance for considering this post. It's probably very simple,
but.....
I have an old VB6 application that allows me to create, save and edit a
"project information file" that is a simple .txt file. I then use that file
to keep the project information current for the multiple AutoCAD drawings
that project requires.
My problem.....several of the items I save are company names (customers).
Many times company names have commas...

But I can't seem to find the answer.
The question is how do you reverse the words in a string?
Or how do you reverse the numbers listed in a string?
The example is usually something like:
Turn this string "1,2,3,4,..."
Into "...4,3,2,1"
This one seems hard enough let alone trying to turn a string of
space-seperated words around(is that even possible? a trick question

Hello,
First I want to refer to the problem "WebRequest : execute a button" of
a few days ago.
The way I solved it, I loose my session, and as a consequence my
session variables. I don't want to keep those variables, as an
alternative, as ViewState variables because I don't want to transfer to
many hidden fields.
This is the code I use :

Fairly new to ASP.NET 1.1. Getting the error below when running

I want to know how to validate a string which is comma separated
"C1","2","12344","Mr","John","Chan","05/07/1976".........
I need to validate each field value against a set of rules, for example
checking if the string is a character or a numeric value, for the
length of the character etc.

Hello everyone,
I'm having a bit of a problem regarding Access 2003 which I really hope is an easy one to solve! I'm using a multiple-selection listbox control to look up values of one table and then it takes the selected values and puts them into a memobox (the values are delineated by a comma) that we can print on a report.
What I would like to have happen is that the user be presented with this same list of possible fields to select...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
