ODBC--connection to <ORACLE> failed

1 New Member
I am getting an error message, ODBC--connection to <Server> failed, when i try to connect to an Oracle Database from MS Access 2002 to access the Link Tables.

Previously i was able to connect it. My system got crashed and i formatted it.

I created DSN and checked. But still i am getting the same error message.

I searched extensively, i am not able to find the solution for this. Can anyone offer any solutions on how to solve this problem?

Hmm, nasty one :-)
I would start with testing the DSN when not yet done.
When that's OK remove the linked table and use the Compact & Repair on the .mdb. Finally link the table again and see or it works.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
