Make-Table Query Shuts Down Computer

TC
I'm experiencing an unusual problem. When I run a specific make-table
query on a computer, that computer shuts down. The computer shuts down
completely, without warning, as if a power failure occurred.

I can run the query without any trouble on other computers. I can also
run other queries on this computer, including make-table queries which
create much bigger tables.

When it works (on other computers), the make-table query creates a
table of about 80,000 rows. The shut down occurs after about 5
minutes.

I believe this is a hardware problem, so I've recommended to the user
that they work with the IT department to get it fixed. However, I'd
also like to offer a reasonable theory about what is happening. Can
anyone offer any ideas? How can Access cause the computer to shut
down? What mechanism makes it possible?

Flakey RAM can cause such a problem.

Hello, In using Solaris Pro Compiler to compile Pro*C code. I am getting this error: make: Fatal error in reader: parser_proc_online.mk, line 26: Badly formed macro assignment Based on other posts, this error is not related to C but related more to my lack of understanding. When I look for line 26 in my make file, it does not correlate to a MACRO assignment. Should I count blank or

I've updated PEP 359 with a bunch of the recent suggestions. The patch is available at: http://bugs.python.org/1472459 and I've pasted the full text below. I've tried to be more explicit about the goals -- the make statement is mostly syntactic sugar for:: class <name> <tuple>: __metaclass__ = <callable>

However, after downloading the alleged driver, I had to compile it, for that I need to have 'make', but this machine does not have the make program, after downloading it from...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
