HELP! Multiple entries for a field or adding fields (by end user)

1 New Member
Not sure of the best way to do this, but here is what I am shooting for.
Basically, I am creating a DB for Project Management. I want the co workers to be able to make comments, and update those comments on an on going basis (and projects change).

So when a project in entered for the first time, we can make any notes on that project. But if something changes (like after a meeting) updates (comments specifically) can be made. I want to always keep the comments and only add to it..not edit existing (like a paper trial). the idea is that if a co worker is out, or you manager wants a project status, the can get the information from Access.

Also, I'm trying to do this from a Data Access Page. This will be published on an IIS Server.

thank in advanced for you help.

Create a new table for the comments with a foreign key reference to the main table. Add a continuous subform to the main form to allow the comments to be added as records.

I apologize for the rudimentary post, however I have a bit of a problem. I have been tasked with developing reporting for a ticketing system. Development has provided me with a rough output form of the data. Once a ticket is submitted and worked it creates separate records for the Comments field each time it is updated, however the remainder of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
