Replacing old hyperlinks in a table automatically from an excel spreadsheet

72 New Member
Hi Everybody,

I have an Access table with a field filled with outdated hyperlinks. I also have an excel spreadsheet that is the master list for these hyperlinks. The spreadsheet will be updated by someone else whenever the links change. However, I don't always want to have to manually update my links whenever the spreadsheet is changed. Instead of manually updating 100's of hyperlinks, I would like to create a macro or something that will take the hyperlink data from the spreadsheet's cells and replace the hyperlinks in my table. The spreadsheet, however, is not set-up the same way as my table. There are a lot of extraneous links in the spreadsheet, and the pertinant links are not in an order that allows me to easily import the information into my table.

Can someone help me??? I need this information within 24 hours.

Thanks!

From the information you've given, this can't be done.

1) The tables are in a different format.
2) There are a lot of extraneous links, but you haven't said if there's a way to tell them apart from the pertinent links.
3)The links are in some sort of random order. This prevents any sort of automation because automation requires at least some semblance of order.

I have a page which takes data in an HTML table, and exports it to an Excel file. It works fine, but I want several things about the spreadsheet to look different from the HTML version. Things like fonts and colors. I think I can use a style sheet for the latter, but I haven't figured out how to remove hyperlinks from some of the items. On the HTML page, the hyperlinks are useful, but I don't want the spreadsheet to have them. So on my...

I was wondering if anyone has had an issue where using vba code to read an excel file and import the data into an access table some records are not imported from the excel file. It seems looking at the data in the excel file that if the first character in the excel file cell is numeric it will read and write only numeric values only. If I sort the coloumn in the excel file and the first character in the cell read is alphanumeric then only...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
