Hi,
I have a form based on a table. When I filter the form I want to run a
report based on the same table with the same filter as the form. No problem
until I want to filter a combo box where the text value is on a different
table. The me.filter is then a text instead of the id-number from the lookup
table. This causes the report to prompt for the parameter.
How do I get by this problem? Do I need to create a temporary table? I
rather...

How do I set up a report that runs after the user selects a month,
(from a combo or list box on a form) so that the only data in the
report is data from the month selected? I'm not too good with VBA
code, but I can copy/paste and edit to my needs fairly well.
Thanks!

I've built a report using a aggregate query that is grouped by Month +
Year, Program and Name. When I feed the date ranges as query
parameters, it will very properly print out a report that shows a
separate page for each program by month with the names of the folks in
that program. So far, so good... But what I need to complete the
report is a summary page for the entire date range in the same format.
I have no &%^# idea how to do that....

I have a crosstab query that shows all the scores of all the activities of
all the students in all courses, with the students being in the rows and the
activities being in the columns and the scores being in the intersections of
the rows and columns.
I also have a report based on this query that, depending on the activity
names, will dynamically insert the field names into the column labels, so
that I don't have to make a new report...

#1 in my report i need to group my clients and print a color code "Green", "Red" and "Blue" above names of the clients depending on values in the order form. Is it possible to print it from the single textbox (right now I have 3 textboxes with =IIf(=1, "Green") in first one. =IIf(=2, "Red") in second box etc. Which makes printout look very bad.
#2 On a report i have a few textboxes that get data based on "count function" =Count() or "if...

Hi,
I created a report based on a crosstab query and I need to add some filtering either in the report or in the query but can't find how to do it. For example, my report contains Site Name, Cycle and Results, when the user open the report, I would like him to be able to choose a specific Site Name or all (with a list box that would be even better), I found some ways to do it but they are not efficient and I need to create multiple queries...

I am using a function prototype to convert month number to month name.
basically you ask the compiler to enter int from 1 to 12 and then convert it.
printMonth ( number ); is the prototype and using switch this is what i did
case 'm':
printf( "What month? Enter a number between 1 and 12: " );
scanf( "%d%c", &number, &tmp );
printMonth( number );
break;

I saw previous solutions to convert a month number (1) to a month name (January). I have a database with 200+ dates. In a query, I use the "Part" function DatePart("m",), to extract the month (number) and all month extracts worked correctly (they returned the correct numerical month). However, when I attempted adding a field in the query to format that extracted month to a month name, it only returned January and December - for all 200+...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
