It's good practice to validate input, not only where it should be coming
from, but from anywhere it's possible to change or add input for a
"client".
If all user input is transfered using "post" you can be pretty tough on
querystrings, if you use them at all.
But user input could have a name like Mc'Donald, and we would not like
quotes (wether single or double) in input to a database or an asp

I assume I'm not alone in my frustration that the expression builder
that comes (in part) with Access XP that dosnt wrap text when you open
it on an exisitng expression in a query or form.
I's bad enough that Microsoft dropped the expression builder from the
VB window (which I have restored using Michael Kaplan addin), but I
cant understand how they could not have fixed this obviously and
annoying BUG!@

Okay, I have a few questions regarding an Access database our company

I am not an experienced programmer. I do have a question regarding
workday calculations.
I have 3 fields. CURDATE, NUMDAYS, CALCDATE
After entering the first two fields, normally the current date and for
example 10 (10 day period) I need the CALCDATE to pass me the
calculated date taking into account workdays and holidays. In other
words, the 10th business day. How is this done? Thanks for any help...

After much frustration I was able to update my data store via code only.
Using the data adapter was the only way I was able to set up all the objects
written in my code. Basically, I cheated by creating an adapter and then
copy, paste, modify it's code to suite my needs. This was the end result:

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
