I've got a form with a humongous tab control on it. Nine tabs,

of them with 3 or 4 subforms.
I'm going nuts trying to fit everything on to a user's 1024x768
laptop. I'll re-size various objects, save the form, and then

it to find the objects *seem* to have changed size on me.
I'm not on drugs and I'm pretty sure that stage one Alzheimer's

still a few years away.... but I wouldn't rule out sheer
stupidity.
Can anybody comment on the possibility of subforms spontaneously
resizing within a tab control?
No Form_ReSize() processing needed... just one-time static
locations/
sizes.

I'm not sure I can help any, but will try to give you some information
that might help.
I have done the same thing (had one form that had a dozen tabs with
mutiple subforms per tab for a total of 30 or so subforms. You start
running out of data space quickly and have to start dynamically
delinking subforms (you get max databases open messages eventually).
When the user clicked on a tab, the subforms in all invisible tabs
were decoupled (parent child relationship emptied) and the subforms
for the opened tab were relinked (with exceptions as necessary for
performance reasons).
All that is just to say that having subforms resize dynamically did
not happen - at least to me - every. So I would suspect that you need
not be suspicious that the number of subforms as the culprit. I
probably would start finding out when the sizes change by logging the
sizes of all the subform controls. I'd log when the form opens and
closes to start with. That might lead you to discover what is going
on.
