I want to create a query formula in Access.
I have 2 columns that have dates eg: 02/03/06 - from those 2 columns I want access to add the 2 dates and give me a number. I am stuck on what criteria I use to give me the result.
Can someone help me please....

What exactly do you mean "add the 2 dates"?
I'd like to know this, too! Came across a question elsewhere last month where someone wanted to "add two times together"; not a time and minutes or hours, but two times!
Sorry what I mean is:
I want to calculate the two dates together example:
02/03/03 05/03/03 the days between is 3.
I want to know the formula to do that.

Hey, Stormy! If the difference between 02/03/03 and 05/03/03 is 3 days, you must be on the other side of The Pond! In the USA the difference would be 89 days! Neverless, since you want the difference between two dates, you need to use...yep! The DateDiff Function!
DifferenceInDay s = DateDiff("d", YourFirstdate, YourSecondDate)
The "d" makes the answer come up in days. To find out how to get the difference in other units, such as weeks or months, in the code window, place your cursor within "DateDiff" and press <F1>

Yeah sorry I forgot about that. I am in New Zealand and we don't have the dates the same as the USA.
