Export to XML based on predefined schema

I am an XML virgin but I have had a couple of enquiries from people asking
if I could export Access data to XML but strictly adhering to a predefined
schema.

How would I do this? I presume I would need to create a query with column
headings that match the element names in the schema (I think). But how do I
merge the data from my query and the "stuff" from the schema in to one
perfectly formed XML document?

As far as I can see using "Application.Ex portXML" is no good because it will
not bass it's output on a schema.

I have the following class that I've wirtten to take a Dataset and automatically export it to either XML, ASCII or Tab delimited file. The reason I wrote it they way I did was that I don't want to have o create a temporary file on the web server everytime someone want to run and export. When I call the ExportToBrowser function the user gets the standard open/save file dialog box. If the user chooses to save the file the program works...

Hi, I am using udb version 8 fixpack 12 installed on Linux. I need to move a schema from one db to another. All tables in the target and source schemas are created using 'CCSID UNICODE'. I used db2move export command from the db2 client on Windows XP. However, when I import the data into the target schema, I noticed some special characters were replaced by a right-arrow character. What do I need to do to keep the data intact during the...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
