Hello, i need some help if possible...
i have a payments table with over 500 records
i want to run a query that searches through the table spotting out any
duplicate ID#'s and Dates.
So basically it will run a search spotting out duplicate ID#'s. Than
with in those ID#'s spot out duplicate dates.
I could do this by eye and spend hours spotting out the duplicated
dates, but it would be much easier and funner having a script do it
for you.

We've been getting this error in our application every once in a while
--- typically once an hour to once a day, although it varies over time.
The daemon that gets the error exits and restarts a few seconds later.
Usually it's fine then, but sometimes the error happens three or more

I work for a tool & die shop, and we have an Access DB that captures
work performed on each job we do. Each job could have 5 or more
entries for work performed on it. I am trying to create a query that
will only display the last activity performed, for each job.
Please note, I do NOT have the Find Duplicate Query Wizard, and need
to know how to create the Query with out the wizard.

Hi Folks,
I have a query that joins 3 tables. One of the tables (SalaryData) has data
where there may be duplicate records with different dates. Of those
duplicate records, I want the query to show me only the one with the latest
date. The query below shows me all the records - including the duplicates
with older dates. I have tried various ways of using the MAX(DateField)
But can't get it to work. I need to keep the joins the way...

OK, how to explain this. I have a table that will feed into another
table using an append query. What I want to do is look at the table I
am appending the record to to check for a duplicate record. I would
use a key field, but, I will sometimes want to allow the duplicate
field. i.e. sometimes it will have a zero (0) value. So how would I

My basic situation is this - I ONLY want duplicates, so the opposite
of DISTINCT:
I have two tables. Ordinarily, Table1ColumnA corresponds in a one to
one ratio with Table2ColumnB through a shared variable. So if I query
TableB using the shared variable, there really should only be on
record returned. In essence, if I run this and return TWO rows, it is

I have 2 tables, Table 1 has Name, NameID, and A, B, C fields.
Table 2 has Name, NameID, and D, E fields.
Several of the Names/NameID are the same in both databases. I want my
merged the tables so each record looks like; Name, NameID, A, B, C, D,
E. I have merged them successfully but I am getting two records for
each name, one record for A, B, C fields, and another record for the
D, E fields.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
