Outlook 2002 to Access 2002 transfer

Hello all,

Was just wondering how to import the category list to Access 2002 from
Outlook 2002? I am setting up some reports where I am using the tasks
in Outlook and one of the queries I need to create would be using
categories.

Thanks for all the help

Facilitator,

You're probably really needing to query Exchange, not Outlook. You might be
able to get to it via WMI Query. Search Google for: exchange wmi query
objects. You might find what you need.

No, I am doing the import from Exchange. Checked the Google string
you gave, nothing there...Been looking everywhere for an answer along
many different searches.

Finally settled with just bringing in the categories from the
component of Exchange/Outlook that I am working on, then splitting the
categories off by delimiter. Now having problems breakign the look to
add them...please check VBA breakout, if you know anything on it.

Thanks for the help,

O

Hello, We're using Office XP on Windows 2000 SP4. After installing the Oracle Connector for Outlook the following problem occurs: Emails sent by Outlook, in HTML format, do have a strange format. The text/plain section of the message source is left empty. Therefore some mailclients cannot display the body, so recipients think they receive

I have a script which sends emails through Access. It sends these emails as if it was sent through Outlook. I had no problem with this using Office 2000 but with the newer Outlook 2002 it asks if I want to send the email (Yes/No/Cancel). And sometimes you don't see it asking you this. How do I tell Outlook 2002 to send it without asking? Thanks, Chris

Greetings all! I've been searching and searching for about two hours looking for advise, help, tips for viewing an Outlook calendar (any view, month, week, day) from within Access. I've noticed that linking the Outlook folder is easy, but the link doesn't include the appointment data, i.e. start time, end time, etc. Am I barking up a dead tree? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have two computers with MS Access 2000 installed. However one computer has Microsoft Outlook 2002 installed while the other does not. The computer without Microsoft Outlook 2002 does not seem to recognize the Date() Function and Left Function and possibly other functions that I haven't used. The only difference between the reference Libraries is that the computer that cannot read these functions has Microsoft Outlook 10.0 Object Library...

I've written a function to check emails in Outlook using Access which works. But I need to be able to have it work for different version of Outlook. I'm using Outlook 2002 and I need to also work for Outlook 2000. I don't want the user to go and find the reference file in Access. So I need this code to work for all versions. I think I need to use late binding but don't know anything about it. Here is the function: Dim OlkApp As...

Hello all, I am trying to find out what the field is in Outlook that holds all the people's email addresses for when the final completed task report is sent. Where is it and how can I access it using Access 2002? Client wants to have access to who in the chain reassigned the task. In other words, person A created the task. They assigned it to F. F worked on it and then re-assigned it to C. Ditto from C to L.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
