Would you enter this in as an "event procedure" or right in the properties
of the combo box under event / afterupdate. I kept getting an error message
that it could not find the Macro "Me!", when I tried it as an event
procedure it did not understand the argument. I'm sure its me doing
something wrong but I don't know what.
Thanks Doc

Hello,
I have a combo box (Combo7) that needs to call a function during the
After Update event of the combo box. The function resides in an Access
2000 ADP Module called MMAnswerData_code.
The following is the code of the function:
Public Function SubFormRS(FrmTarget As Object)
Forms!frmAD_OpeningForm!FrmTarget.RecordSource = "EXEC
dbo.AdSubFormRecSource " & Forms!frmAD_OpeningForm!SubFormFilter

I need to fill a table with values. The table has about 6000 records
but the records will not have the same value in this field. I thought
I had figured out a way to do this easily but it is giving me an
error.
Object or provider is not capable of performing requested operation.
Basicly I am choosing a department in a combo box(Combo1) and a charge
number(Combo3) in the form. They are both unbound.

Hello,
I have a database set-up with a form and two subforms in it. I have one
of the subforms (replacement parts) set-up where you can pick part
numbers from a drop down box and also pick a description of the part
from a drop down box. These are two separate fields. I want to be able
to pick the part number and have it put in the description
automatically or the other way around. Which ever would by easier?

How will you make a drop down list that rely information from another
drop down list with the help of row source, sql and query not with the
of form, pages and vba.
Every department has different designation and every designation has
different section.....
Thank You!

I am trying to display data using SELECT on "Form Open" to text boxes, but am failing! ie:
Data = "SELECT * FROM tblInvoice"
Combo1 = Combo1.RowSource = Data
Combo1 = Combo1.ItemData(0)
Text2 = Combo1
The only way I have found to show the results on a form is to use a Combo Box to receive the above query and then transfer it to a Text Box. (The above code may be slightly incorrect but is shown for illustration purpose only)

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
