I'm not getting any feedback on the most important benefit in my
proposed "Ideas for Python 3" thread - the unification of methods and
functions. Perhaps it was buried among too many other less important
changes, so in this thread I would like to focus on that issue alone.
I have edited the Proposed Syntax example below to take out the

there seems to be a serious problem with allowing numbers to grow in a
nearly unbounded manner, as int/long unification does: it hides bugs.
most of the time, i expect my numbers to be small. 2**31 is good
enough for most uses of variables, and when more is needed, 2**63
should do most of the time.
granted, unification allows code to work for larger numbers than
foreseen (as PEP 237 states) but i feel the potential for more
undetected...

VB.net 2003 c/w Framework 1.1 and MS Access db
We have a commercial program that does our Acounting and Time Sheets
(Timberline). At least once a day our Accounting department runs a Script
file that Exports info into an MS Access db file and which has 7 Tables (stuff
like Project info, Project numbers, User names, etc).

Can u please suggest me , the way to Export the data from all the tables of the Data Base at a time in text files individually with file names similar to the table names .
So if i had 200 tables in my data base . i require 200 text files each having the data of each table in the data base.
File name of text file should be equal to that of the file name of table.

local tables to carry out certain operations. There is a tendency for
the front end to bloat so I have set 'compact on close'
I think that I have read in some threads (althoug I cannot find them
