Issue with creating a form

2 New Member
Problems with creating a form from two tables, in access. The data won't come from the on of the tables. Need guidance. All data is under A, but when I make a form B, none of the data comes over here. Tried to make a query, but same result.
There is a relation between the 2 forms, but I cant see what is wrong

I have 3 Forms. A, B and C. Form A contains Values, Form B contains Comments. By Merging these 2 Forms I want to create Form C. When I merge I am getting the Comments from Form B and not the numbers from Form A. That is my problem. Hope you can comprehend this. I would really appreciate your help with this.

Regards.

What is the table structure of the two tables these forms are based on. Please provide Tablenames, Primary Keys, Foreign Keys and other relevent fields.

I will try to be as descriptive as possible, but this error has me stumped and I am not sure what relevant info to include.... I am running Access XP on a Windows XP machine. I initially began developing an app in Access 2000 but converted it several months ago to XP. So the app is now Access XP format also. My app is crashing on a regular basis, with the totally non-descript Microsoft error (Microsoft Access has encountered a...

Hi all. I have a frustrating issue that I can't seem to figure out. EXPERTS please help me~! Deadline is coming up soon~! My task is to localize a winform application. The .Net Designer creates its own .resx file (i.e. form1.resx) for each form. I realized that I was not able to add any strings inside that .resx file because the .Net Designer will overwrite that .resx file causing me to lose the strings I add. Therefore, I created a...

I have a problem in my application which I believe is due to open handles.. . The symptom that users report is that after they have been using the application for a while, it will randomly just crash with an exception report (I've not got the details of the error, but I'm working on that now!). I'm trying to reproduce the circumstances by simulating a typical batch of user tasks on my pc and monitoring whats happening. I'm guessing it's...

With a little help from someone in this forum, I am currently creating forms and then embedding them into tabpages, so that I get a display similar to Lotus Notes. I have one container window, so I am using this approach as an alternative to a MDI container. My issue is that when I resize the container form, the controls that anchored to the right in the embedded form do not move with the container form. After investigating I have found...

I have come across something that I cannot seem to find a solution for and would like to know if anyone else has either seen the same thing and/or (even better) has a solution. If I set the BorderSize for a flat-style button on a Windows form, the border is correctly drawn in the designer but it is drawn as being one pixel wider at runtime. For example, if I set the BorderSize equal to 1, in the designer, the border will be drawn 1...

Hey all, I am having an issue with XML/XSLT and JavaScript in my ASP.NET page that I am creating. I first want to apologize if i placed this in the wrong category. Since there were three different entities here i wasn't 100% sure where to place it. Here is the background on the issue: I have a XML tag that is located in multiple places and multiple documents that has a structure of: <LINK ID="para0001">LINK TEXT</LINK> This tag...

Basically I select 9 rows of data out of a table that have the same item number, but each row has a unique GUIDs, then I loop through the data to display it on a webpage. This all works fine. The issues comes when I try to submit all the data (changed or not) back into the table. My submit code is below strcreative_id =...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
