Hello All & Thanks in advance for your help!
Background:
1) tblT_Documents is the primary parent transaction table that has 10
fields and about 250,000 rows
2) There are 9 child tables with each having 3 fields each, their own
PK; the FK back to the parent table; and the unique data for that
table. There is a one to many relation between the parent and each of
the 9 child rows. Each child table has between 100,000 and 300,000

Hello All:
I'm having a problem that's been baffling me for a few days and I seek
counsel here.
I have an Access 2000 DB from which I want to run several reports. These
reports are essentially the same (albeit for minor formatting differences).
To produce these reports, I am drawing from three tables:

Hello
I am trying to save information from one form to two tables. I have
a table for Student info and Transcript line. I have a form that list
all the classes (using text boxes) a student is supposed to take to
graduate. This form also has a combo box for assigning grades for each
class. I am trying to save information from the form to the student
info table and to save each class on the form as separate records in
the transcript line...

Hello,
I think I have found a query problem when the query has an alias for a table
and use alias item and table name.
I ilustrate the problem with a simple table and query.
prr=# create table foo (c1 int2, c2 int2);
CREATE TABLE
prr=# insert into foo values (1, 1);

I have 2 tables: Table1 and Table2.
Neither one has a primary key because each table will only have
1-record.
My form is a SingleForm unbound with tabs (my desire here).
Using this form, in the Record Source I originally had the statement
TABLE1,
and all worked fine. Now I want to open the second table as well, and
this is where my problem is.

Hi
I have this database that calculates and stores the incentive amount
earned by employees of a particular department. Each record is
entered
by entering the Date, Shift (morn, eve, or night) and the 'employee
name'. There is another table which assigns an ID to the Shifts, i.e.
1,2 and 3 for morn, eve & night shifts respectively. From the mother
table, the incentive is calculated datewise for each employee as per
his shift duty. In...

Im working on web tool that will allow supervisors to see a list of their agents and their call stats for a call center.
I have one main table that holds employee IDs and their supervisor names. I then have a dozen other tables that hold many different employee statistics and scores that they accumulate through the year. These tables all have employee IDs in them, but the IDs would reoccur everyday (so they are not unique) and there is data...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
