Hello,
Have any of you ever controlled MS Access Replication from a VB application?
I have a VB6 application where I have to send copies of the underlying MS
Access 2000 database in remote areas (no LAN or Internet connections), then
get the databases back and synchronize them.
Any suggestions, articles, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I have around 20 reports in an ASP web-application which connects to a
SQL Server 2000 dB, executes stored procedures based on input
parameters and returns the data in a nice tabular format.
The data which is used in these reports actually originates from a 3rd
party accounting application called Exchequer. I have written a VB
application (I call it the extractor) which extracts data from
Exchequer and dumps the same...

I have a local Excel spreadsheet I am potentially migrating to MS
Access. The thought was to use Access on the workstation for data-entry
and subsequent generation of mailing labels and other simple reports. I
also want to gather data from an internet webform--potentially, the
data will be entered into a MySQL database.
What is the best method to combine these two endeavors? That is: how
can I have workstation access to the database for...

HI all can anyone help me with this.
I have two databases, one at my local host and second one on a web server with same tables. I have to make some changes to my local database and I need to update all those changes to the on line database. A table can take thousands of records even millions. Suppose there are 50,000 records in a table and I add two more records to my local database. Now I have to update these changes to the other database....

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
