Help - AccessXP database error

Hi All,

In AccessXP I was running a query when I got the following error

"The Visual Basic For Applications Project in the Database is corrupt"

I have been developing this datbase applications for two months and I
really can not afford
loss it at this point. Can this be fixed????
I tried creating an empty db and importing the objects but I get the
same message
I can get to database window in it but I get the same message when I
try to export the
objects.
I get the same message when I try to compact/repair it as well.
I am in very deep sneakers.... I need to get this back to a usable
state, help!

I went to Google Groups/Advanced Search and searched for
The Visual Basic For Applications Project

Lots of hits. Here's one response David Fenton made.

"The problem appears to be the versions of Access and Jet. In the
unpatched version of Access 2000 (no service packs applied) with
Jet versions that have not been updated to SP6, we see CORRUPT VBA
PROJECT when we try to decompile, and a complete crash whenever we
try to open the code for any form.

However, in Access SR1 or later with SP6 applied, there is no
problem."

I have an application that is being used in both the retail and run time Access (XP). One feature is that reports can be exported to SnapShot files. I have a custom menu for the reports and VB code creates the snap shot via the menu for the current report. This works just fine. Now I also have a button on my report menu that will generate a snapshot for a complete set of reports. All that is prompted for is a directory to create the...

Hi All, In the desktop shortcut I added the /ro switch to the command line \\Homf6\Vol2\LifeComp\ComonDbs\AVA\Apps\AvaXP.mdb /ro and the db opens but I can still change data that is displayed on a form. So, what am I missing?? If the "/ro" switch is suppose to open the db as read-only then why is it letting me change data thru a opened form.

Hi All, In an AccessXP application I have a vba process which creates a document on the users 'c' drive and then opens and attaches that document to the users mail client which in this case is Groupwise. This process works fine for all users except one, the one user gets the following error message; "Error 2147221934 was Returned" in a pop-up box within Access. I've looked and tested all over and can

Hi All, Below is a function I want to use in AccessXP, it works as is but as the comment says I need to manually open Tools - References and check off 'Groupware Type Library' and I'm hoping someone here can show me some sample code so I do not have to do that manually. If I run this without that library checked off I get this error message 'Compile Error - User Defined Type Not Defined' thanks bobh.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
