I am using Access 2002 and have two tables (Main and Actions) linked
(in Relationships) on one field "CAL_ID" (primary key in Main Table).
Main Table is a list of equipment. Actions Table lists actions
performed on these pieces of equipment (calibration, cleaning, etc.) so
there are many records per every one record in the Main Table.
I have a form based on Main Table, containing a subform for Actions
Table. This is used for data...

Hi all.
I'd like any suggestions on how I can get my data set (not a DataSet)
bound to a couple of controls on a form. Let me start by describing
what my data looks like. Each entry correlates to a piece of equipment
and has the following information:
Two strings, one for a system name and one for equipment name
An integer
An ArrayList (which will contain only strings)

Hi All
We are having a VB application on SQL. But we need to collect
information from persons who will be offline to verify data and insert
new data. Generally they will be entering the data in Excel spread
sheets which can be uploaded to the database using the application
after some validations.
But rather than Excel I was looking at Infopath with Access as the
database, to create validation rules and collect data offline that can
be...

Hi
We are attempting to create a dynamic spreadsheet which will extract information from CRM / SQL.
We have very limited expierence in creating SQL queries and we would really appreciate any assistance. We had some assistance in creating an initial query which looked as follows:
SELECT equipment.name ,
equipment.new_modelno,
equipment.new_serialno ,
equipment.new_type ,

Hi,
First, I apologize, but I am a biologist not a programmer!
Second, I made a web-based scheduling system in mysql. It works great but I need to generate a report by specifying a range of dates on another webpage.
I made the query to give me the columns I want, but I don't know how to create the front-end page on which I would like select the range of dates to show me. Here is the query that returns ALL records:

Hello everyone, I'm using Access 2000 and SQL 8.0
This maybe easy but I can't figure it out. I have a linked access
table to a SQL server table. I use this table on a Grid on an Access
form. There is a field on the grid for the Equipment Number the field
is called Equipment (I know original).
The data type for this field is varchar with a length of 10 and the
data is rigth justified in the table
on the SQL Server.

I am working with an Access 2003 inventory database. When a piece of equipment goes bad we junk it and delete it from the database. We have been copying the record to an excel form for storage just so we have a record of the former piece of equipment. I am trying to make the database more user friendly and keep all of the data in Access so have created another table called JunkedEquipment. I would like to be able to use a command button on a...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
