MS Access reports craches...

Hello,

I 've created a report with a lot of images (jpg 2340x1660 pixels).
They are maps,I cannot remove them or decrease the dpi.

Now I've start to add data in the database, but when access loads more than 30 pictures crashes.

Is there any way to unload them every time I leave the page they are inserted?

Thanks in advance

ses

PS. I've not tried to make then GIF, its time-consuming.

When you use A2000, then make sure that the Service Packs have been installed as without them the .mdb will bloat :-(

Thanks for your answer, but I've already tried that.

I tried to view the last page the report in 3 different PC's (2 with SP3) but the result was the same.

ERROR 2114, when the images loaded are about 25 MB (it depends, probably due to each system resources).

At this time I use a form/filter to load 15 records in each report and print them, but I don't want that.

Is there any way to manipulate system's memory through VBA?

TIA

This is the approach I used to automate printing of Microsoft Access reports to PDF format i.e. unattended and without annoying "Save As..." dialogs, and - more importantly - without having to use a commercial program such as Adobe Acrobat and its associated API. The technique uses Ghostscript and Redirection Port Monitor - two free...

I've got some VB.NET code that *should* get a list of reports from an Access MDB and populate a list box with them. It doesn't detect any of the reports at all. oAccess.Reports.Count comes up as 0. There are four reports in the MDB. They are not hidden. They don't have special characters in their names. There is no security on the MDB and...

Help! I'm writing a vb.net application that uses Access as a database. I've got a bunch of queries that I wrote within Access. I'm running them from VB. Most of these queries have parameters. I'm adding parameters to an OleDbCommand using Parameters.Add(name,value). This works fine as long as I add my parameters in the same order as...

I am looking for Access reporting add-in that would be easy to use by end users. My key focus is on selection criteria. I am very happy with the Access report writer capabilities. As far as development of reports, it is certainly fine in my book. But for end-users, with little experience or training, it would be nice to have an easy way...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
