Try using an Image control, and set the SizeMode property to Zoom.

For information on using images identified in, or from, your database, see
the following:

The sample imaging databases at http://accdevel.tripod.com illustrate three
approaches to handling images in Access, and the download includes an
article discussing considerations in choosing an approach. Two of the
approaches do not use OLE Objects and, thus, avoid the database bloat, and
some other problems, associated with images in OLE Objects.

If you are printing the images in reports, to avoid memory leakage, you
should also see MVP Stephen Lebans' http://www.lebans.com/printfailures.htm.
PrintFailure.zi p is an Access97 MDB containing a report that fails during
the Access formatting process prior to being spooled to the Printer Driver.
This MDB also contains code showing how to convert the contents of the Image
control to a Bitmap file prior to printing. This helps alleviate the "Out of
Memory" error that can popup when printing image intensive reports.

Ok, I'll explain the whole problem because there may be several ways to solve this and hopefully someone knows one. What I'm doing is creating a specialty template editor, similar to say a corel draw (but for specific uses). What I need to be able to do is import graphics and text and then move them around the background until they are where I want them and then export it out as an image file. The problem is that I need to be able to...

Hi all, Is there any .NET way (I am not rulling out API usage) to add button(s) to a form's title bar? I found some non-.NET solutions that did actually work in VB6 but not in the ..NET forms... I tried painting, but the paintaing area provided by the form is only the client area - no visible way to paint on the title bar.

Hi there everyone, I have a part info form which has a faded image of our company logo as a background. I want to replace the faded image with a bright red warning image on items which have run out of purchasing cover. I am nearly there, the only problem is that the code below only changes the image background for text and combo-box backgrounds, it doesn't apply it to the whole form.

First of all, thanks to Crirus and Fergus for helping me with a related posted a few days ago. Ok, I can add images to my form (for whatever reason I cannot added more than 1 image within the same procedure; rather I had to call the same "addimage" procedure over and over again to get it working). For anyone that's curious the code I used is the following: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------...

In the form load, when I create the menu items then add it to the menu control using the Add method, the entire menu dissappears. Any one know why? Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
