mouse repeat on form advance?

I just installed MS Access 2002 on a new PC. On my old PC when I had a
form up and held the mouse down on the backward and forward arrows to
change the record, the records would fly by due to the repeat from the
mouse. Now I have to click the mouse for each record advance. I
looked through all of the settings in Access and can't find anything.
Any ideas?
thanks,
Alan

Have you looked in the mouse control in windows to see if there is a repeat
rate anywhere?

Form not refreshing after autopostback unless keyboard or mouse move Hi, We created several new ASP.NET C# forms for our intranet. In each form we use panels for different sections of the form that are visible or not depending on what the user is doing. Each particular form.aspx page has a user control on it. This user control contains the form HTML and the C# code.

Gday everyone, I'm dearly hoping Stephen Lebans is going to update his masterpeice to stop the mouse wheel scrolling to work on subforms *he has indicated this to me but of course beggers can't be choosers here so I have no idea when this would be done*. I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten around the problem some other way? --Original Thread---

I need to be able to move a Panel on a windows Form at run time using the mouse. I have tried adding a MouseDown event handler to the Panel and then within the MouseDown handler adding a MouseMove event to the Panel and then setting the Panel's Location to a new Point(x, y) with x and y set to the mouse's x and y, but this does not work because the MouseDown event of Panel only sends the cords of the mouse within that Panel. I need to be...

I need to be able to detect mouse movement even when it is not over my application. I can get the mouse cords using MousePosition but I am not sure if there is an event that hits my program when the mouse is not over my program. One idea i had was make a child form that was transparent and use the MouseMove event to keep that transparent window under the mouse but the transparent window did not catch the MouseMove event. I also tried...

In a simple two form project, use a button on each form to Show() the other form and Hide() the current form. Add MouseEnter and MouseLeave events to both buttons so they change the image on each button when they are NOT Clicked but the cursor enters their boundary. This setup works fine. If the mouse cursor enters the button on the first form the image changes and if the button is clicked the first form disappears and the other form...

I have a button with mouse_click event when pushed. However it does not generates mouse down event. To fix this I could poll the mouse state every 10mSec and see if the mouse button remains down or up. I did a search on internet & MSDN and to my surprise, it seem there is no simple solution to actually read the flag relating to mouse button state. Is there way around this?.

Hello, I have tried this using the MouseEnter/MouseLeave events. However these events do not really refer to the rectangular shape of the form, but the client area (form area minus children areas). This means that if the mouse is currently inside the form's client area and it enters a child, a MouseLeave event will be generated on the form. One little trick to overcome this is to do a point-in-rectangle test inside the MouseLeave...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
